Featured Case study: Climate, the 360° Exhibition of BNP Paribas
Climate change has a major impact on the social, economic and political fabric of people living all over the world. Our client BNP Paribas is very dedicated to fighting global warming convinced that finance should play a key role in reaching the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. As parts of these efforts the thematic Climate, the 360° Exhibition was produced.
The exhibition took a document-based approach, providing visitors with landmarks, engaging scientists and members of civil society in debates on current issues and providing access to the latest news and data flows on the geopolitical, economic, energy, environmental, technological and scientific aspects of climate change. To create an impact, the exhibition was displayed at several locations in the city.
Thus, additional events for different target groups were organized in collaboration with various institutional partners, including the exhibition itself which was not displayed on a single location but different parts of it were presented simultaneously indoors in BNP Paribas’ Concept Store in Sofia; a thematic workshop with two renown scientists, working on climate change research projects, supported by BNP Paribas; a film panorama was organized in partnership with the French Institute in Bulgaria with free screenings of contemporary movies, showing the splendor of nature and Earth and others.
Overall 6 different events took place at 4 locations in the city, allowing for different groups of people to get familiar with the various aspects of climate change
More than 1500 people visited one or more of the events
The project covered several major target audiences: high-school students, university students, the professional scientific community, general audience
The event was covered in national and local media through interviews with the guests and general information, creating nearly half a million media impressions
All partners were very involved and shared widely information about the project through all of their communication channels (web pages, social media profiles, mailing lists), and together with BNP Paribas’ own channels.
Climate, the 360° exhibition presented by BNP Paribas has been awarded 1st place by the international jury of BAPRA Bright Awards 2019 for Best Corporate Social Responsibility campaign with emphasis on the environment/ecology.
